Review by hotel critic
Our family had a delightful stay at Grand Central in Shanghai, and it quickly became our top pick for city trips. The hotel ambiance was inviting, and we appreciated the spacious rooms-perfect for our family of four, especially since I'm 6'1' and could actually fit comfortably in the bath! Breakfast was a family favorite, showcasing a delightful mix of Western and Chinese options that catered to everyone's tastes, from my kids' love for dumplings to my wife's preference for toast and eggs. After a great meal, we took a quick dip in the swimming pool, a refreshing way to cool off after our summertime outings. The location is a significant advantage, with Nanjing Road's vibrant pedestrian street just steps away. Plus, the metro station was only a short walk, making it easy to explore the city. A little competitive game of billiards after dinner brought us all together, strengthening our family bond. Grand Central is a fantastic family-friendly option in Shanghai!
